Luke B. Miller

Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Georgetown University. I study political economy, with a focus on voting, campaign strategy, and institutional design.

Research Interests

I use structural modeling and causal inference to study how institutional incentives and campaign strategy shape political behavior. My job market paper develops and estimates a model of voter turnout and campaign mobilization in U.S. presidential elections. Through counterfactual simulations and large-scale computation, I examine how strategic incentives influence participation and campaign effort.
